“Wine and a Good Book” Bouquet

Ranunculus (in wine), round-leafed Eucalyptus, Pussywillow

I love ranunculus, which means “Little Frog” in Latin. Frogs are one of my favourite animals, so it is only natural that I should love this equally springy flower! These top-heavy cousins of the buttercup don’t have the longest life, or at least I haven’t found a way yet to preserve them as long as I’d like, but when they’re freshly cut , they make a wonderful addition to a cheery bouquet!  I set these wine-coloured flowers against the soft green of round eucalyptus and flecks of pussywillow!
